Pogba still happy at Man Utd, insists Mourinho

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "We lost Riyad Mahrez, who was a very valuable player for us, so it was important to keep our best players and have good additions to the squad".

"I like my players and my group".

Jose Mourinho's squad hasn't seen too many changes in his third season in charge with only one major signing having been made this summer. "He is an example of the type of players we need to sign to win trophies and compete at the highest level", Sanchez said.

"I'm going to enjoy this season".

Mourinho is desperate for a centre-back with Harry Maguire still believed be keen to switch Leicester for the Red Devils, just a year after his £17m move from Hull City.

There has also been a long-term issue with Mourinho and winger Anthony Martial with the "Special One" wanting the club to offload the talented youngster as well.

But Mourinho insists that while he will talk to Pogba before deciding when exactly to re-introduce him to competitive first team action, he has been happy with his attitude and first few days back in training in Manchester. "Leicester have players in their side who can do some damage".

The move was created to ease disruption in the first few weeks of the campaign after a number of high-profile players, including Alexis Sanchez, Philippe Coutinho and Virgil van Dijk, missed matches at the start of last season due to transfer speculation.

But I told Axel: 'At Dortmund you are the number one, at Manchester you are one of the many. and at Napoli too'.

Pogba, meanwhile, could be on the bench against Leicester despite only training for four days since arriving back in Manchester following his triumph with France in Russian Federation. "I like to work with my players".

'But it's the same conversation as with [Ashley] Young, [Marouane] Fellaini, [Jesse] Lingard, it's the same.

"To know how they feel physically mentally to try to give us a help, if they feel they can help us, 20 minutes, 10 minutes, half an hour". But Liverpool did its business early in splashing more than 170 million pounds (US$220 million) on Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker and midfielders Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri.
