West Nile Virus Detected In Stanley County Mosquitoes

"We expect that there will be around 135 cases, down from 147 in last week's prediction", according to a weekly online update from the state Department of Health.

West Nile Virus has been detected in people, blood donations or mosquitoes in 11 South Dakota counties. "We are encouraging Ohioans to take precautions to avoid mosquito bites, including by eliminating potential breeding sites around their homes, in order to prevent mosquito-borne diseases like West Nile virus".
