Liam Payne Reveals September Album Release Date, Hints at One Direction Reunion

We've had epic singles, brilliant collabs and gorgeous music videos from Liam Payne's solo career so far - but now, after waiting what seems like an eternity, we're about to get his debut album.

Liam Payne has kicked off GMS Summer Concert Series with a mesmerizing performance of his latest single "Strip That Down".

The singer - who first found fame at 14, when he appeared on The X Factor - admitted he anxious about carving out a solo career when the boy band went on hiatus in 2015 because he wasn't sure he still wanted to be "famous".

Chatting to KISS FM's Where's Your Head At?' campaign, Liam explained: "When the band started our break I struggled with the idea of becoming famous again, it scared the living daylights out of me".

"I've had a few, there have been some tough times", Liam said this week of emotional battles. "I had to figure out a way to make it work for me - rather than me work for it", he added, revealing surrounding himself with "good people" is key to his sanity. "I miss being with the boys, that was so much fun, we love the boys, but I'm sure there's time for that to come back around", Liam told breakfast show Good Morning America.

His One Direction bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan have already released solo albums, with Styles hitting the number one spot a year ago, while Louis Tomlinson is also set to release his own album.

Now all five original members of the group are working on solo music.

The mother-of-one has let slip it's One Directioner Liam who cooks in their household and that she always tries to sleep when her young son, Bear, sleeps in order to get enough rest.

"I just met him [Jay-Z] at Coachella a couple of weeks ago", J Balvin said.

Continuing, the singer said that he had collaborated with a "good mix of attractive people" on the record.
