Google is rolling out native Offline mode for Gmail users

To enable Gmail Offline, users will have to head to the Settings and then select the Offline menu option where they will have to click on Enable offline mail option.

Administrators of corporate services G Suite to activate the feature should turn on the "Gmail offline web", and regular Gmail users are already beginning to access the new mode, which is very useful in traveling or in an unstable Network.

At the bottom, click Advanced. With the recent redesign, Google was able to build this offline functionality right into the web app. Users can now write, search, and delete/archive messages when they have no connectivity, with these changes syncing back when an internet connection is regained. Choose your settings, such as how many days of messages you want to sync, then click Save changes and you're in business.

All users of the new Gmail will have Nudges enabled by default, but it'll take a few days to be live for everyone.

Offline users are limited to storage space available to Chrome, which Google said is usually only a fraction of the total free space on a drive.

Under "Privacy and security", click Content settings. Usually, this is only a fraction of the storage available on your computer, so the available storage shown in Gmail offline settings is smaller than the actual available storage on your computer.

On the Offline menu click Enable Offline Mail and you'll see a screen with several options on it (Figure C).

· Keep offline data on my computer - Data stored on your device will not be deleted when signing out of your Google account or when changing your password.

Offline support in the new Gmail is now available only in Chrome.

Go to the settings page where you will find an option for "Offline".

On your computer, make sure you've downloaded Chrome.

Under "All cookies and site data", click Remove all.
