Aliens may well exist in a parallel universe, new studies find

A new study has come up with the collaborative research of different universities which tells that regardless of the truth of the Multiverse hypothesis, life can survive outside the Universe in which humans live.

Ever since then, the debate around whether many universes might exist as part of a larger multiverse - and if they could harbour life - has been burning in modern cosmology.

"The Multiverse was previously thought to explain the observed value of dark energy as a lottery - we have a lucky ticket and live in the Universe that forms attractive galaxies which permit life as we know it", said co-lead author Dr. Luke Barnes, a researcher at Western Sydney University and the University of Sydney. And the new research suggests that the answer lies in dark energy, the mysterious "force" that is accelerating the expansion of our Universe.

Scientists say that present theories of the genesis of the universe foretell a lot of dark energy in our universe than seems to be. Salcido explained that the evolution of the galaxies and the stars are the end result of a "tug-of-war in between the quantity of dark energy and the strength of gravity: the former causing the universe to fly apart and the latter causing matter to clump together".

The team claimed that even if the universe has 100 times more dark energy than our universe, stars and planets still have time to form - increasing the possibility that Alien life may exist outside of our own universe.

However, the new study suggests that variations in the amount of dark energy only has a modest impact on star and planet formation, meaning that the conditions for support life are not as narrow as previously thought.

The search for alien life has always been a priority for many scientists and enthusiasts alike, and the fact that this alien life is quite likely to exist outside of our universe is comforting in a way.

We would expect to see up to 50 times more in our cosmos based on the multiverse theory, they said.

"We have found in our simulations that universes with much more dark energy than ours can happily form stars". The dark energy is defined as the odd force, which is triggering the universe to expand.

The Multiverse is a hypothetical group of numerous separate Universes, including the one where humans reside.

" I believe we must be searching for a brand-new law of physics to discuss this unusual residential or commercial property of our Universe, and the multiverse theory does little to rescue physicists' pain.".

They published their finding of research in the Monthly journal, the Royal Astronomical Society.

Professor Stephen Hawking's final research paper, completed just ten days before he died in March 2018, suggested our universe is one of many - each with similar physical states.

The enigmatic material is invisible because it does not reflect light, and has never been directly observed by scientists.

"Similarly we know dark matter exists but have never observed it directly".
