Boomerang and 3D drawing camera modes are coming to Facebook Stories

Yes, there are millions of Facebook users who are making use of this Facebook Stories on a daily basis.

According to sources, the social media giant is going to add attractive AR doodles along with Instagram's Boomerang GIFs to the stories through the Camera button just like Instagram. The addition of these extra creativity options could be an attempt to make the Facebook camera, a more popular place for content creators while trying to compete with the competition. "We're testing new creative tools to bring pictures and videos to life, and introducing easier ways to find and share stories", a spokesperson from Facebook told TechCrunch.

According to sources, Facebook's new technology lets your drawing wrap on the object which looks like more real and nature than what you see in the real world. The company confirmed to TechCrunch that the features would start rolling out to users worldwide in the coming weeks.

3D drawing on Facebook could be the future of AR as it could simplify the process of newbies and people with little idea of how these things work.

The new feature is named as 3D drawing and it allows a user to create various shapes and also write text on the videos shot by the Facebook camera before or at the time of video recording. Any photos or videos you add to your Stories will appear on both Facebook and Messenger, and will be shared with the same audience across both. This also means that flash photography is not supported by the new feature, on account of it harshly affecting the lighting captured in the image. Given that it has more users than Snapchat, the pioneer of vanishing posts, Facebook will have an even harder time convincing the people to use its platform and cross-post to Instagram instead. For the very same reason, Facebook is now adding impressive features to this section so more people can get attracted towards it.
