The Voice season 14 blind audition ends: Team standings after six episodes

The vocalists compete for one last chance to be selected by one of the coaches and fight for a chance to win the title of being named "The Voice".

"Look what you did, you broke Kelly Clarkson", Levine told Calister, stepping in to vouch for the American Idol victor, "Let me tell you something about Kelly Clarkson".

"I'm so sad. I know this is embarrassing, I'm crying", Kelly said after the song ended.

"Not with that shirt they not".

With her final lines, Amber really hammers into the ground and sky and basically bullies Kelly into pressing her button by never finishing the note until she does so.

Somehow, it takes a whole bonus verse for her to earn any chair-turns, but when she does, it's both Adam Levine and Blake Shelton who are after her. Blake enthusiastically offers what would be the last spot on his team, but she's ultimately convinced by Adam's promise that he's already got some ideas in mind for where she can go from here. As previously noted, Dallas went with Team Blake.

While Keys nearly immediately pressed her button to turn around, she had to yell at fellow coach Clarkson to turn her chair before the end of the performance.

"I turned around because it's disrespectful for a someone who has that kind of talent", said Alicia Keys. And Blake applauded Stephanie for her passion and singing a song so personal to her.

Adam also landed Miya Bass, a 28-year-old from Jamaica Queens, NY, who sang "Issues", as well as Gary Edwards, a 26-year-old assistant choir director from Lewisville, TX, who sang "What's Going On". Even though Blake was last to hit his red button, he made sure to point out just how much he wanted Dallas on his team.

On the show, singers audition while the judges' backs are turned. "The heart and the soul is there and I think that is the only place, at least on my team here, is the only place I'd ever want to start", Levine said. Kelly gushed, before Adam admitted she'll probably be "the one to watch" in the competition this season.

The Voice could just as easily be a contest for the nation's most resilient individuals, and it would still make sense because, like so many others, Sharane Calister has a story.
