Final Fantasy VII Remake team hiring for 'core members'

Each day brings us closer to the eventual announcement of a release date for the Final Fantasy VII remake, but Square Enix isn't ready to take that next step yet. It's also very likely that Final Fantasy XV's dev tools and procedures are bleeding into the project, as FFXV Game Director Hajime Tabata said his developers have become "tougher and faster" because of internal pressure.

Recruiting core members for the project!

The job posting sheds light on the progress of the game.

While it's a bit odd that the company is still looking for help so late after announcing the title, it wouldn't exactly be unheard of.

The new Final Fantasy 7 Remake job ad, which has been translated by Siliconera, reveals that Square Enix is looking for level planners to be added to the game's core team. Square Enix states that general functions and contents are now being tested, and that they are working on bringing graphics up another step in quality. The listing specifies that the new hire will be expected to "brainstorm level designs for each location". Square Enix hopes to add members that can work on various levels within the game and come up with ideas for what they'd like to do with the charming characters.

It'll be interesting to see if E3 2018 or some other event will provide more details on Final Fantasy VII Remake.
